ABOUT ME

Owolabi Olamilekan Olamibode is a First-Class Chemical Engineering Graduate (GPA: 4.76/5.00) from the University of Ilorin. He ranked #3rd in his graduating class and served as the Former Student President. He aspires to become a researcher and consultant in Sustainable Engineering, focusing on Renewable Energy, Biomass & Bioproducts Engineering, and Sustainability. His highlights include leading a project on improved biochar production from agricultural waste (Chicken Feather and Sugarcane bagasse), achieving a 150% efficiency increase in surface area, and co-authoring a paper published in "Bioresource Technology Reports" on the Conversion of Plant Husk-based Biomass into Biochar. In terms of leadership, he spearheaded a campus sustainability initiative that reduced waste produced on campus, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills. He is proficient in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen PLUS, Microsoft Excel, Python, and Data Analysis techniques, with a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles and practices. He seeks opportunities to leverage his research expertise and leadership qualities to contribute to a sustainable future, remaining open to collaborations and challenging projects in the field.
